MICHELLE EPPS
Michelle Epps, our Receptionist, grew up in Arlington, Texas, and graduated from Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tarleton State University in Horse Production & Management then worked at Oklahoma Stud in Purcell, Oklahoma, and Greystone Arabians in Aledo, Texas.
She volunteered in numerous community organizations, and church related activities while raising her children. She taught in the Alvarado ISD, the Burkburnett ISD, Agape Christian School in Wichita Falls, and a private Christian school in Georgetown, Texas, then was Receptionist for First Texas Bank in Georgetown.
She and her husband John, (also a Tarleton graduate), were married in Fredericksburg in 1980. He secured a job with James Avery as Supply Chain Manager which brought them to Kerrville in 2007. Their son, John Jr., a recent graduate of Tarleton, is the Head Coach for the Varsity Boys and Girl’s Soccer Program at Hillsboro High School, where he will also be teaching biology. Their daughter, Amanda, is currently a senior at Tarleton State University.
